On our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy and Chinatown, our guests frequently ask what we do when we are not on a tour. This weekend, when the weather is as nice as it is, frequently we do things outside. From local parks, to gardens there are always some special to just causally wander in the City.
There is something about casually wandering, strolling if you will that makes for a perfect day. Just going into that right local bookstore and not really caring if you find some thing or not. Or going down a path into a garden or a park and not really caring what you find, just enjoying the causal stroll. It’s hard to describe, it just makes for the perfect day sometimes.
On our San Francisco Food Tours, we like strolling a little, as well, not really sure what we’re going to find, but enjoying the fun of finding something new. It could be a new food, or dish, or some new artwork.
Whatever it is, whatever we find, it’s the fun of finding something new. For that it needs to a someplace unique, someone that is one of a kind, it’s the reason why we like to explore local artisans. Places that are part of the neighborhood. It’s the place to find someplace special, someplace worth strolling into .
