Thanksgiving is over and if you’re like us, you have way too much Turkey.

The big question is what to do with it all.  We tend get imaginative at home, with everything from Turkey Vegetable Soup and Tukey Pot Pie to even Turkey enchiladas and fajitas.  It seems like we make all of this turkey, then spend the next couple weeks trying to figure out what to do it.

 The good news is that on our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy and Chinatown, I didn’t see any turkey.  I’m at the point that if I don’t see turkey for a long time, it will be too soon.  The problem is that next year, we’ll probably end up with turkey again.

 The alternatives to turkey on our San Francisco Food Tour are way better than turkey.  Fresh prosciutto sandwiches or Peking Duck is way better than turkey.  As is focaccia sandwiches or mapo tofu.  I suspect that our stops are keeping all of their leftover turkey at home. Which is a very good thing.   They are probably like me, just trying to figure how we use it all up.  The good news is that we’ll eventually use it all up or freeze it until we can figure what to do with it.  The bad news is that we’ll end up with more leftover turkey next Thanksgiving.
