Some people think it’s a time for celebration, some people thinks it’s a time for changes, and some people think to reflect on the previous year. For some people it’s a combination of all of this or something entirely different. I think it’s a time to take stock of all of the great things around us and acknowledge all that you’ve accomplished. On our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy and Chinatown, it’s easy to take for granted what we have. We live in what some people call one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We have great friends that we know on our San Francis Food Tours. Many of us have good families. And yet, it easy to take all of that for granted.
We’re so used to seeing that every day that we tend to focus of the negative. In other words, rather than focusing on all of the great things around, we focus on the reason that it’s not perfect.
I suspect that it true in most areas. We’re so used to seeing the great things around every day, whether it is a great view, good friends, good family that it’s easy to overlook all of that and focus on the one or two things that aren’t perfect. So maybe, New Years is a great time to take stock of all of the great things around you, no matter where you live.
