We’re always working to have the Best San Francisco Food Tours, so always we’re asking ourselves how we can get better. Looking at oneself is essential as to how to get better. That means looking at things to find out what is not working. If you have taken one of our tours, you may get a follow up phone call from us. Usually, I’m the one who makes those calls. I make them because I want to get feedback on the tours. I want to find out not only what is going well, but also, what is not working. That is one the best ways to get better. It is also a great way to find our about small problems before they become large problems.
When we look at our national government, what is really missing is the desire to find our what is really happening, not just get validated for one’s opinion. Getting validated for one’s opinion may make you feel temporarily good. However it does not do much for solving a problem. And it does not make the problem go away. Actually it allows the problem to fester and later it will come back, only when it comes back it will far worse and much harder to fix. It is a lesson that we are constantly reminded about coming out of national government. Unfortunately, it does seem to being heard. For example, only caring about the most well off may feel good in the short run, however in the long run, it will hurt everyone.
